a level for TF2 almost done blocking it out. it has 2 rounds. the first round works perfect with AI the second round i need to resize some things and fix some ENT's





i love working on the grid in hammer it makes compile times cut in half

i made this texture awhile ago for some moron on facepunch but he never used it.

it tiles from side to side but not up and down good for buildings with no walls. (buildings being built)

this took me longer then usual, because i wanted to spend time with my Bro before he went back to school so i spent like an hour a day on it.

any crits on the texture? please dont just say it sucks. please tell me why it would suck.

i think when i finish all this ill give all my source files for the level.

ya i tryed to make it look more blue (tbh it looks pretty blue now) but i think its just the lighting and the reflections zoic did. do you think it will look better with a more blueish tone to it?

well they did dig it out of the ground. with the flat images your only seeing the diffuse not the specular and bump thats why it doesnt look shiny

Actually, now that I think about it, it's probably Zoic's shading/lighting that makes it look blueish, but your texture still look a bit too brown, might wanna desaturate it a little bit.

oh and of course, add some blue lighting in the map you're putting it in, it's a JJ Abrams project after all
